Two in the Front
Oil on linen/panel, 2011 7x5"
SOLD
To a collector in Suttons Bay, MI
Today's daily painting is a winter landscape on Belle Isle of two ancient willow trees that I am sure have seen lots of freighters both up and down bound on the Detroit river. If only they could tell us the stories they have seen.

So much snow this winter! You're gonna need another tube of white paint soon!

Thanks Daniel, it has been cold and snowy, but it does make for nice paintings.

Jeff, thanks for commenting, I am thinking of doing a small Blurb book with the Belle Isle paintings.

This is luscious, Stephen. Has a certain wildness that reminds me of Van Gogh.

Thanks Don, Sometimes the subject just paints itself if you know what I mean.
