Central Ave Bridge III
Oil on linen/panel, 2011, 5x7"
SOLD
To a collector in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI
Today's daily painting is a winter landscape of the Central Ave Bridge over the canoe stream on Belle Isle. This small  graceful bridge was built in 1913. and reminds me of the bridges in Central Park, NY.

It should, as Frederick Law Olmstead probably designed both of them. Lovely painting, as usual.

Thanks, I just wish Belle Isle was as popular as Central Park. It is such a beautiful park in all seasons

This one is great. I love the bridge and the light of the snow on it. The tracks are very nice, too O:-)
