Today's daily painting is an urban landscape of the Dequindre
Cut rail bed and Eastern Market watertanks. We are in that neverland
time of weather in Detroit, not winter, not spring, and not very pretty right now
so I will probably continue with some of the winter scenes until things get a little greener

I appreciate the fact that there is an adherence to a truthful yet imaginative interpretation of nature and reality in your work – that you’re not in the least preoccupied with painting pretty postcards! – Your work has substance as well as acute observation and is beautiful!!!
