This daily painting is a view of an alley in the warehouse district near the Dequindre Cut. For some reason this reminded me of the trees along the roads in Southwest France. After all Detroit was once called the Paris of the Midwest. I really like the way the sensuous curves in the tree

This daily painting is a view of the Dequindre Cut looking North towards Eastern Market. This section of the greenway development has not yet been completed. The section completed has a 20-foot-wide paved pathway, which includes separate lanes for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. It is really cool with some great graffiti .
