What an absolutely beautiful painting. A gem! I have been meaning to write you for a while. Wanting to tell you how much I enjoy your work. I find you particularly talented and following a road less travelled in your subject matter. It is very inspiring. Such beautiful work. And while I am fascinated by the urban scenes I am really moved also by these nature scenes you have painted this summer. This one is somehow very moving and the colours are so rich - powerful and graceful at the same time. Lovely, really.
I also wanted to thank you very much for taking the time to leave me some comments and for your words of encouragement on my fledgling blog. Being new to art-blog-land I have been very tentative in my postings and you have been one of the very encouraging voices. And since I so respect your work, it has been particularly meaningful for me. Thank you so much. I'm honoured. I wish you all continued success and I also wish I had tons of money and could collect your paintings. I would love to bid on this one for example... we'll see if I can manage anything... finances are tight right now. Anyway, that's my problem, not yours, but I do want to say once again, thanks, and bravo, and all the very best to you.
