Just looking over some modernist paintings recently...and reading an article in yesterday's paper about the small manufacturers using the Navy Yards in New York ( they are doing great in their niches BTW) Some of my favorite paintings are of the changing landscape of our country in the industrial age... and look at this piece you've posted... really nice painting Stephen. Happy New Year.
Thanks Janice, I was happy to see you are back in New Orleans. I saw the article in the NY Times also and realized artists will always find a way. Their talent can't be taken away when they lose a job or when times get tough. Hope all is well with you and Happy 2009, our New Year doesn't start until Jan. 20th!
