This daily painting is of the Charlotte Lounge at the corner of Charlotte & Cass. The Cass Corridor was home to the Detroit Cass corridor art movement of the 60's and 70's.
Cass Corridor was know as Detroit's Skid Row in the 60's. and became a catalyst for the Bohemian life of students and artists. Also home to Creem magazine the predecessor of Rolling Stone. Robert Sestok is one of many the Cass corridor artists still making art.
