This daily oil painting is of an alley in Detroit's Eastern Market. I was interested in the dark shadows and sky reflections and the contrasting colors in this scene.

Wonderful shadows, and that puddle is perfect.
I lived in Michigan for 45 years, 7 in the Detroit area, and I think your work documenting the city is so important. And of course, so good!
