Has it been hollowed out? Halifax has a few downtown buildings that are completely gutted. They have the same effect, it's a bit like looking at a hollywood set.
Quite a bit of our city looks like a movie set. There are nine movies set to film in Michigan this year after the Governor set up tax breaks for the industry. The roof has collapsed in this building, "demolished by neglect" is a saying in Detroit. There is a lot of new building going on all over Detroit, commercial and residential. We are growing.
