This view is from the ninth floor in one of the Chelsea Gallery district buildings, The George Billis Gallery was in this building before moving to the ground floor on 25th st.

I find this one similar to your Detroit series, except for that silhouette, of course. Nice grays.

Thanks Bill, I've always liked them to, maybe it's an age thing.
Ambera, I have been painting Detroit over 20 years and New York for more than 14 years so I tend to look for the same shapes and things that appeal to me, in both places. It really doesn't matter subject material that much, I would hope the painter as a person would come through regardless of subject.

This is one of my favorites. Those dark tanks work in the same way the pier does in the previous post.
