Snow Shadows, oil on linen panel, 7"x5", click on image to enlarge
January sunshine is very limited in Michigan so it was a treat to walk out of the studio and see the sun creating these wonder rich shadows on our neighbors house.

Vesuvio's Bakery, oil on linen, 48"x40"
This is a commission I just finished for the George Billis Gallery in New York.

Simple and beautiful. Sometimes the most uncomplicated things are the most lovely. Your bakery is AMAZING.
Oh Man, soooo simple yet so interesting. Way to go.
Love the big one too.
"Snow Shadows" is pure Art, stephen. Wow.
Terrific, Stephen. Color is great.
The Vesuvio painting is fantastic, Stephen! I love the painterlyness of your small pieces, but this large one lets you concentrate on the details, which I love. I can't wait to see what you do next.

I'm praising the snowy roof and BLUE sky and shadows. (And it makes retiring to the frozen North seem especially beautiful.)
This is really nice, love the olde world feel and the complementary red next door to the green is perfect!
Simply beautiful Stephen
wicked piece, and great colors!
